The Associated Press announced Saturday its annual All-Pro teams and two Dolphins players were among the honorees. Linebacker Jordyn Brooks earned first-team AP All-Pro honors, while center Aaron Brewer was named to the second team.
It is the first All-Pro honor of Brooks' career and the first first-team selection for Miami since wide receiver Tyreek Hill in 2023. Brooks is the first Dolphins defensive player to earn the accolade since cornerback Xavien Howard in 2020 and the first inside linebacker to do so since Hall of Famer Zach Thomas in 2006.
In his sixth NFL season and his second with the Dolphins, Brooks started all 17 games in 2025 and finished the season as the NFL's leading tackler. He tallied 183 tackles (99 solo), 3.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, three passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery on the season. He was the only player in the NFL to post 150-plus tackles, 10-plus tackles for loss and at least 3.0 sacks. He was also one of only two players to record eight games of 11-plus tackles and the only one to post two games of 18 stops or more. Brooks's 183 tackles in 2025 are the fourth-most stops in a single season in franchise history. Brooks, who joined the Dolphins as a free agent in 2024, was voted a team captain by his teammates for the first time in his career ahead of his second season with the team in 2025.
It is also the first All-Pro accolade for Brewer, who is the first Dolphins center to be named to the second team since Dwight Stephenson in 1983.
Brewer anchored an offensive line that led the way for a rushing attack that averaged 4.7 yards per rush, the fourth-best mark in the NFL in 2025. He allowed only one sack in 2025, according to PFF, which was tied for the least among starting centers across the league. The offensive line did not allow a sack in four games all year, the third most in the NFL, trailing only Jacksonville and Houston, each of which had five. The Dolphins rushed for at least 100 yards in each of those four games, becoming one of only four teams in 2025 to record 100-plus rushing yards without allowing a sack in four or more games (Jacksonville, 5; Detroit, 4; Houston, 4). Brewer, who also joined the Dolphins in 2024, served as a team captain for the first time in his career in 2025.
