The ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ announced today they have signed tight end Hayden Rucci to the active roster off the practice squad and signed tight end Tanner Conner to the practice squad. The team also elevated linebacker Quinton Bell and cornerback Isaiah Johnson to the active roster for Sunday's game.
Bell has played in 29 career games with three starts in five seasons with Tampa Bay (2020), Atlanta (2022) and Miami (2023-25). He has recorded 26 tackles (15 solo), 1.0 sack, one pass defensed and one forced fumble in his career, in addition to four special teams tackles. He appeared in Miami's Week 6 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers and in Week 7 at Cleveland. Bell was originally signed to Miami's practice squad in 2023 and spent the 2024 season on the active roster, appearing in all 17 games with three starts and recording 23 tackles (13 solo), 1.0 sack, one pass defensed and one forced fumble. He entered the NFL as a seventh-round selection (230th overall) by Oakland in the 2019 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Prairie View A&M.
Conner has appeared in 33 career games with one start with Miami (2022-25), recording 12 receptions for 107 yards (8.9 avg.). He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Miami in 2022. Conner played collegiately at Idaho State, where he was a first-team All-Big Sky selection at wide receiver in the spring of 2021. Conner also earned all-conference honors in track and field. He transitioned to tight end when he was signed by the Dolphins in 2022.
Johnson has appeared in two career games with the Dolphins (2025) and has recorded one special teams tackle. He made his NFL debut in Miami's Week 6 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers and played in Week 9 against Baltimore. He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Miami in 2024 and spent the season on the practice squad. He played his final two collegiate seasons at Syracuse (2022-23), where he appeared in 25 games with 19 starts and totaled 115 tackles (74 solo), two interceptions, nine passes defensed and one forced fumble. He began his career at Dartmouth (2018-21), where he earned first-team All-Ivy League honors in 2021 after registering 55 tackles (38 solo), one interception returned for a touchdown and seven passes defensed.
Rucci has appeared in two career games with the Dolphins (2025). He made his NFL debut in Miami's Week 8 matchup at Atlanta and played in Week 9 against Baltimore. He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the Dolphins in 2024 and has had multiple stints on Miami's practice squad. He played collegiately at Wisconsin, where he appeared in 36 games with 18 starts during four seasons (2020-23). He caught 17 passes for 200 yards (11.8 avg.) and one touchdown for the Badgers and was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection in 2020, 2021 and 2023.
